Ingredients
- 1 lb steak (flank, sirloin, or chuck)
- 1 medium head cabbage, shredded
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Optional: 1 tsp thyme or rosemary, splash of vinegar or lemon juice
Instructions
- Season steak with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
- Sear steak 3–5 minutes per side, remove, and set aside.
- Add onion and garlic to the same pan; cook until fragrant.
- Stir in shredded cabbage, cooking until tender (about 8–10 minutes).
- Return steak to pan, slice if desired, and mix with cabbage.
- Adjust seasoning and serve hot.

Choose lean cuts (sirloin/flank) for a lighter option.
