Description

A creamy, cheesy Skyline Dip that blends Cincinnati-style chili, cream cheese, and cheddar into a crowd-pleasing appetizer. Perfect for parties, game day, or family gatherings.

Ingredients

1 (15 oz) can Skyline Chili (or Cincinnati-style chili)

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (freshly shredded preferred)

1/4 cup diced white onion (optional)

1/4 cup diced tomatoes (optional)

Crackers, tortilla chips, or vegetables for dipping

Hot sauce, to taste (optional)

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a medium bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth.

Spread cream cheese evenly in the bottom of an 8×8 inch baking dish.

Pour the Skyline Chili over the cream cheese layer.

Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.

Add diced onions and tomatoes, if using.

Bake for 15–20 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Remove from oven, let cool slightly, and serve warm with your favorite dippers.

Notes

Don’t overbake, or the cheese may turn oily.

Use freshly shredded cheese for best melting and flavor.

Make ahead: assemble the dip, cover, and refrigerate up to 24h before baking.

Variations: try a vegetarian chili, pepper jack cheese, or a pinch of cayenne for spice.

Store leftovers in an airtight container up to 3–4 days; reheat gently in oven or microwave.
