- ¾ cup white or dark chocolate chips
- ½ cup dried cranberries or cherries, chopped if large
- ½ cup shelled pistachios, roughly chopped
- ¼ cup rainbow sprinkles (jimmies style)
(Tip: keep total mix-ins near 1½ cups for best spread.)
Instructions
- Prep: Heat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line 2 baking sheets with parchment.
- Dry mix: Whisk flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Cream: In a large bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy (2–3 min). Beat in egg, then extracts.
- Combine: Mix in dry ingredients just until no dry streaks remain.
- Fold in colors: Stir in your colorful add-ins (about 1½ cups total).
- Scoop: Portion 1½ Tbsp mounds (≈ 30 g) 2 inches apart.
- Bake: 10–12 minutes until edges are set and centers are still soft.
- Set: Cool on the sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a rack. Enjoy!
